As stated by the Revolutionary Guards air force commander, Gen. Amir-Ali Hadjizadeh, after Iran's military shelled a U.S. drone, 10 days ago.

"Yes, we fired a shot and it was done with a warning shot. If they do it again, they will receive a response now significantly harder," said General Hadjizadeh, Sunday (11/11) local time.

Meanwhile, Pentagon spokesman George Little said Iranian fighter jets fired on U.S. aircraft. However, the shot was not on sasarang. "U.S. drone that never was in Iranian airspace and attacked a shot off the Iranian coast in international waters," said Little.

Pentagon spokesman warned Iran that the U.S. is prepared to protect its troops. "We have a variety of options, from diplomatic to military, to protect our troops and military assets in the region and will do so if necessary," said Little.
