A Blogger Killed in Iranian Prison

An Iranian blogger died mysteriously in prison. Previously he was arrested because it was considered dangerous to national security in social networking.
 
The existence and cause of death Behesthi Sattar (35) is not clear. Family says police ordered them to retrieve the body Wednesday.

However, until now the Iranian government did not give any statements.

Behesthi held overnight in Evin prison, Tehran. There he wrote a formal complaint to the government and complained of ill-treatment.

Consequently Behesthi transferred to another prison location unknown.

Behesthi officials allegedly targeted for his writings on issues of social and political on his blog and on Facebook.

Behesthi family said they were barred from visiting the tomb Behesthi, except the brother-in-law.

The rights group Reporters Without Borders called on the government of Iran to clarify the death of Beheshti.

"The Iranian government must clarify the real cause of death Behesthi and urged the international community not to let this crime go away," the group's statement said.

France and the UK Government has also requested information on the death Behesthi. However, the request was not responded to the Iranian government.
