Elliot A Child Cannot Stop Laughing For 2 Years

Elliot+a+child+cannot+stop+laughingA boy could not stop laughing. This rare condition has lasted for two years. Elliot, always seemed happy even when his brother was scolded. Most parents would love to see their children grow up with a permanent smile on his face. But for Gale and Craig Eland, saw their son who was always cheerful is a painful thing of struggle in their infancy.

Elliot was born with Angelman Syndrome, which has resulted syndrome chromosome disorder that causes severe learning difficulties. Rare neurological condition has side effects, patients are prone to excited and his face was laughing or smiling permanently.

This condition is very rare, less than 1,000 cases have been reported in the UK. "When we feel sad, laugh Elliot makes us all a laugh. Someday you definitely want to see the kids happy, and Elliot seemed to be always happy," said Gale.

"The only problem is if Elliot and his brother was playing with his older brother, Alex. When Alex was injured, he was crying, but he just laughed and Elliot did not understand why. Thing is what we do not want, Alex thinks Elliot happy if he hurt,".

Angelman Syndrome is a rare genetic condition was first identified in 1965 by an English physician Harry Angelman.

At the beginning of this syndrome is called 'Happy Puppet Syndrome' as happy attitude and movement characteristics of children looked stiff. Later named, Angelman Syndrome in 1982.
