Mosque for the Gay and Lesbian (Independence Mosque of Paris)

Whats World - A mosque, which claimed to be present at the Independence Mosque of Paris, France. The mosque was opened by a gay Muslim named Ludovic-Mohamed Zahed. He manages a small room inside a converted Buddhist dojo's prayer.

Now starting 30 November 2012, every Friday, the room will be open for Minority Muslims in France. Minorities in the choice of sexual orientation as gay, transgender and transsexual. In fact, Zahed states encourage the use of mosques equal between men and women in the ranks or women priests.

The 35 year-old hopes to invite about 20 people to visited this mosque on the first Friday in December. However, he hopes that number will continue to rise as it manages Friendly Muslim organizations in France. The organization was first followed only six people, now grown with members reached 325 people.

"Friendly or trans-identity is not against nature, I think it's not their fault, it is part of nature, because God created them that way," he said. In this mosque, Zahed continued, is a safe place to question it all. Especially for those who identity crisis and do not feel comfortable at a traditional place of worship.
