Prepaid Cards in the U.S. Allegedly Burglarized of Hackers

The Bank JPMorgan Chase & Co., based in New York, United States, warn users of the dangers of a prepaid cash card hacker attacks. According to them, 465,000 prepaid card account likely to have been burglarized hackers. "The site has been attacked www.ucard.chase.com mid-September 2013," said bank spokesman Michael Fusco yesterday, as quoted by Reuters. They claimed to have reported the hacker attacks to law enforcement officials.

A spokesman for the bank, Michael Fusco, said that the bank has been investigated to determine the number of accounts that are likely to attack. He declined to discuss how the hackers attacked the bank's network.

Fusco said the bank has not yet discovered the alleged theft of money due to a hacker attack it. U.S. officials could not be reached for confirmation. The bank did not know who was behind the attack. However, the FBI is investigating the case.

The attack was actually not the first time this has happened in the U.S.. In May this year, U.S. prosecutors said global cybercrime network has been breaking USD 45 million from the bank. The group of hackers withdraw money from automatic teller machines in 27 countries.
