What's World - China found standing in the rear to increase the status of the Palestinian observer countries not members of the UN General Assembly. Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said today as news Xinhua.

According to Hong Lei, China supports the Palestinian people establish their own independent state. That way, the Palestinians could enjoy sovereignty with East Jerusalem as the capital of the state based on 1967 borders agreement. "We understand, respect, and support the efforts of the Palestinians to the status at the UN," he said.

According to the plan, the UN General Assembly will conduct a poll in New York on Thursday afternoon regarding the status of Palestine. Now, the Palestinian observer status of the entity is not a member. Palestinians want to increase the observer status to non-members.
