2 Pyramids Was Found in Google Earth

Angela Micol, archaeologists, claimed to find two pyramids in the desert of Egypt. Micol, who studied the pictures from the air to search for a man-made feature, discovered two pyramids using Google Earth.

The first site is located just 2.4 kilometers from the ruins of the old town called Dimai. Formation consists of a large square and three other smaller features. Small features is aligned with the north star, just like the Pyramids of Giza. However, the biggest feature is not even fit to this straight line.

The discovery of the second pyramid is about 19 kilometers from Abu Sidhum, the city on the edge of the Nile. Striking features in the form of a triangular plateau plateau with the side that has been eroded. The center of this triangle circular features, chances are wells or bumps.

Micol claim if the findings are supported by Nabil Selim as an Egyptologist. Selim called if two pyramids was previously not known to exist. The finding also has been sent to several experts for analysis.

"The image speaks by itself, it's obvious what it contained all of the building. Though field requires research to ascertain if they are in fact a pyramid," said Micol.

However, the discovery has sparked controversy from other archaeologists. Sarah Parcak, an archaeologist from the University of Alabama, the United States, said the findings Micol doubt.

"Report of Google Earth is coming from someone who is not Egyptologist, archaeologist, or a remote sensing expert," said Parcak. In addition, the added Parcak, doubted the discovery, which is about eight kilometers west of the Nile Valley.

Critics finer delivered Robert Litman, an archaeologist from the University of Hawaii and is also Director of the excavations at Tell Timai Egypt. "Maybe it was a pyramid, but perhaps also other structures."

It takes a process to validate the geological evidence is building pyramids and different from other structures.
