The leader of the anti-apartheid movement was hospitalized for four days. This 94-year-old man chose a military hospital in Pretoria as a treatment.
On the day of Saturday, December 8, 2012, he was flown from his home in the village of Qunu, rural areas in the Eastern Cape Province. Each day, the hospital reported the development of health to South African officials.
Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula declared Mandela conditions began to improve. He claimed the military take full responsibility for their health.
